Who can crew?

We embrace everyone who wants to make a difference, regardless of education, background or skill set. We welcome expressions of interest in crewing to anyone who would like to support others to create a better future for themselves.

What commitments do I need to make as a crew member?

You need to be willing to commit time and energy.  Committing to the time means agreeing to be there for the entire time outlined in your acceptance letter.  Punctuality is extremely important to the smooth flowing of our events.  Generally you will need to be at the venue 2-3 hours prior to the commencement of the event and anywhere from 1-2 hours after the completion of the program . Please note if you are not available for the entire duration of the event, your acceptance will be at the discretion of the Crew Manager. If you can no longer crew at an event (after confirming your availability) you must inform us via email at least 72 hours prior to the event. If you fail to do so, we will make note of this in our records and this will affect your opportunity to crew future events.

How do I apply?

For some events, crew applicants must apply via a Crew Application Form online. Please see your Events Calendar for all application forms. The selection process is via the web and you will be contacted via email if you are successful. Other events we only need you to email us your full details. We will let you know which events you need to apply for and which ones you do not.

How does crewing work?

Crewing is on a voluntary basis and transport, accommodation, and other expenses are your own responsibility.

By donating your time and energy as a crew member you get a behind-the-scenes view of how a world-class event unfolds.

Each person is assigned a role and becomes part of a smaller team. Each team has a Team Leader or Trainer assigned to it.  For all Tony Robbins events , the crew team is managed by a crew manager from Tony’s company, Robbins Research Institute.

What will my tasks be?

Your contribution/crew area will depend on what we know of you and whether you have been on one of our teams before. Largely you will be contributing in some very meaningful (although sometimes it may seem small to you) way to the success of the event.

Tasks are required to be carried out outside the room while the event is running.  Should this be a concern for you, we suggest you consider participating in the program as a delegate rather than a crew member. Training - Some positions require a little formal training, whilst others have greater requirements. Training and guidance will occur onsite at events in relation to roles given.

What will I get out of crewing?

We want to ensure that each crew member has a fun and worthwhile crewing experience.  Some people help staff on our programs just to find out how it is done.  Others come for the “team work” experience.  Most want to help the Tony Robbins and Harv Eker campaign to change lives of others for the better. For each person it is different.

What qualifications do I need?

For all of the Tony Robbins events; Unleash The Power Within, Date With Destiny, and Business Mastery, you must be a past graduate of the event for which you want to crew.

For all other events, you do not need to be a graduate, the only criteria is you are enthusiastic, willing and want to be a part of the crew  team

Can I bring a friend?

As mentioned above, this depends on the criteria of the event, some events require all crew to be a past graduate , while other events this is not a criteria.

What should I wear?

You will be given this information once you have been confirmed on the crew team for an event. At some events you will be provided with a crew-t-shirt.

How do I keep in contact with other crew members?

You can join our Crew dedicated Facebook Page where you can not only interact with other crew member but also get updated information on upcoming events delivered to your newsfeed
